Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival
Arrival in Managua and Transfer to Hotel
Day 2 - Mombacho
Travel one hour away from Managua to the dormant Mombacho Volcano, take the 17 line Canopy tour and hike around one of the craters through a cloud forest
Day 3 - Leon
Travel to the active Cerro Negro Volcano 1.5 hours away from Managua, hike to the top and sand board to the bottom
Day 4 - Somoto
Travel to the Somoto Canyon 3 hours away from Managua and hike, swim and take a boat through the canyon from 3 - 5 hours
Days 5, 6 - Rio San Juan
Travel to Rio San Juan on the southern border of Nicaragua for 3 days and 2 nights. Stay at an all-inclusive lodge in the forest and take hikes in a natural reserve, ride horses, kayaks, take river tours, Visit the old Spanish fort of El Castillo and night time crocodile tours (all included)
Day 7 - Managua
Return to Managua in the Afternoon
Day 8 - Departure
Departure: Transfer to Airport
